Torna in pista questo weekend l'International GT Open, per la consueta tappa francese di metà luglio a Magny-Cours. A questo quinto evento dell'anno, che segnerà il giro di boa della stagione, Marco Frezza si presenta con tutte le carte in regola.
Dopo aver finalmente ottenuto la sua prima vittoria in carriera appena due settimane fa a Spa-Francorchamps, infatti, il pilota milanese si trova a due soli punti dalla vetta della categoria GTS.
E nelle sue dichiarazioni del pre-weekend non c'è spazio per nascondersi o per fare pretattica: "L'obiettivo è quello di conquistare la testa della classifica," proclama.
Come sempre, però, la sua analisi è fredda e attenta. "Non dimentichiamo che il nostro primo avversario Jean-Philippe Dayrault, che comanda il campionato, qui gioca in casa: il team Luxury ha sede vicino a Magny-Cours e qui ha effettuato tutti i test."
Ciò non toglie che il circuito transalpino sia amico di Marco Frezza. "La pista mi piace, è molto tecnica e qui ho anche avuto l'occasione di togliermi delle soddisfazioni, due anni fa, quando salii sul podio," ricorda. Questo weekend Frezza sarà nuovamente al via con la Ferrari 430 GT3 targata Kessel Racing insieme al suo compagno di equipaggio Pedro Couceiro.
E la parola d'ordine sarà una: "Occorre trovare il giusto assetto, perché sul tracciato di Magny-Cours avere la corretta messa a punto della macchina è l'aspetto più importante." Per questo Marco è pronto a mettersi al lavoro con impegno fin dalle prove libere del venerdì.

English version Frezza aims to be leader in Magny-Cours The International GT Open comes back on track this weekend for the usual French mid-July event in Magny-Cours. Marco Frezza is heading to this fifth race of the year, which will also be the mid-season mark, well prepared. After obtaining finally his first carreer win just two weeks ago in Spa-Francorchamps, in fact, the driver from Milan is just two points behind the leader of the GTS category. And in his pre-weekend declarations there is no space to hide: "The goal is to get the head of the classification," he explains. As usual, though, his analysis is precise. "We don't have to forget this is the home race for our first opponent Jean-Philippe Dayrault, who is heading the championship: the Luxury team is based near Magny-Cours and here he did all the testing." However, the French track is a friendly one for Marco Frezza. "I like the track, it's very technical and here I also had the opportunity to obtain some satisfactory results, as two years ago, when I stepped on the podium," he remembers. This weekend Frezza will be again starting with Kessel Racing team's Ferrari 430 GT3 together with his team-mate Pedro Couceiro. And his main objective will be one: "We have to find the right setup, because on the Magny-Cours track to have a perfect car is the most important thing." That's why Marco is ready to work at 100 percent already from the first Friday free practice.
