Dopo oltre sette mesi di inattività, Marco Frezza ha fatto il suo ritorno al volante questo weekend a Spa-Francorchamps, dove si è corsa la terza tappa dell'International GT Open 2009. Il pilota lombardo è salito nuovamente sulla Ferrari 430 GT2 che già lo aveva visto protagonista l'anno passato, questa volta vestendo le insegne del team Vittoria Competizioni.In coppia con il bulgaro Plamen Kralev Marco ha portato a casa due ottavi posti assoluti, a dispetto della lunga sosta e del drive-through comminatogli dai commissari di gara nella seconda corsa.
La soddisfazione nelle sue parole del dopo-gara è evidente: "E' stato un weekend estremamente positivo, sia per il fatto che sono tornato al volante sia per il risultato finale. Mi sono trovato davvero bene con questo team, che ha saputo mettermi a disposizione una macchina veloce e preparata con grande professionalità."
Frezza sarà presente al via anche del prossimo appuntamento della serie che si correrà già questo weekend sul tracciato inglese di Donington, questa volta in coppia con Ferdinando Monfardini. E le sue aspettative sono già molto chiare: "A Donington punto al podio!"
English version Frezza back in GT Open After seven months without races, Marco Frezza came back on track this weekend in Spa-Francorchamps, where the third event of the International GT Open 2009 took place. The Italian driver was again at the wheel of the Ferrari 430 GT2 which he already drove last year, this time with the Vittoria Competizioni team. Together with the Bulgarian Plamen Kralev, Marco brought home two eighth places overall, despite the long stop and the drive-through taken in race-2 by the race stewards. The satisfaction in his words after the races is evident: "This was an extremely positive weekend, both for the fact I came back at the wheel and for the final result. I went along very well with this team, which could give me a fast car, prepared with great professionality." Frezza will be again at the start of the next event of the series, which will take place already this weekend on the English Donington track, this time together with Ferdinando Monfardini. And his expectations are very clear: "In Donington I aim for the podium!"
